    WEST PALM BEACH, FL     As social media influencer Douglass "Ricky Vaughn" Mackey was convicted on charges of interfering in an election by posting memes online, startling new evidence has emerged that he was making plans to create a dangerous and devastating Joe Biden GIF.

    "Our investigation has revealed a horrifying plot," said a Department of Justice Spokesperson at a press briefing. "Not only did Mr. Mackey engage in the highly incendiary activity of posting memes that made fun of Democratic politicians but he was apparently in the planning phase of actually creating and disseminating a GIF depicting President Joe Biden in an unpleasant light that would almost certainly have interfered with his 2024 chances. This is a dangerous and disgusting crime."

    Though many other social media users engaged in similar activities as the ones for which Mackey was charged, his crime was deemed far more severe due to the fact that his targets were Democrats. Mackey's Biden GIF, reportedly depicting Biden sniffing a young girl's hair on a continuous loop, may result in additional charges. "The government can't stand for this," the DOJ spokesperson continued. "Democracy must be protected from these dangerous people who want to express their opinions. They must be silenced. Send them to prison!"

    At publishing time, Department of Justice officials were rumored to be building an extensive case to bring similar charges against The Babylon Bee to stop them before they manage to unleash a deadly 3rd joke.

  Complete overhaul of the Department of Justice and their enforcers - the FBI - to reflect a far more honest justice system to keep patriots remaining calm.

  Disband the FBI, and request that congress investigate all unethical and non patriotic practices to partially right the wrongs of a distrusted and politically weaponized "Department of Justice."

  Continue with the current system since the two tiered justice system has been so remarkably beneficial to Democratic Socialist political hegemony; chronic distrust in institutions notwithstanding.
