Huge court wins for GOP on election issues in NC and Florida | Eastern NC Now

election integrity in Florida and redistricting in NC

ENCNow

Two court rulings impacting elections in Florida and North Carolina vindicate Republican positions, and will help in maintaining election integrity in future elections.

The North Carolina Supreme Court reversed a prior ruling and will invalidate the Congressional district boundaries that were gerrymandered by the court and approved photo voter ID..  It also threw out the prior rulings on legislative redistricting and reversed a lower court that had expanded felon voting.

In Florida, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals reversed an Obama judge of the District Court and approved Florida's election integrity law that tightened up election practices to prevent election fraud.  In a bizarre ruling, the Obama judge at the district court level had thrown all of those provisions out claiming they were "racist".  This attack on election integrity had been filed by Democrat super lawyer Marc Elias on behalf of the rabidly Democrat organization League of Women Voters.
