Deborah Rose Carrow Rowe | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Deborah Rose Carrow Rowe, age 72, a resident of Blounts Creek, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

    A private Celebration of Life will be held later.

    Mrs. Rowe was born in Washington, N.C. on May 21, 1950. She was the daughter of the late J. G. Carrow and Rosalie Hardy Carrow. Mrs. Rowe was a retired pharmacy tech with O'Neal's Drug Store. She served as a volunteer EMT for Blounts Creek Fire Department as long as her health permitted. In her spare time, Mrs. Rowe enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

    On January 7, 1967, she married Lacey Wayland Rowe who preceded her in death, June 6, 2011.

    Mrs. Rowe is survived by two sons, Lacey Wayland Rowe, Jr. and wife, Rebecca, Travis Kevin Rowe and wife, Kimberly all of Blounts Creek; four grandchildren, Jaime Burbage and husband, Thomas, Austin Rowe and wife, Jessica, Joshua Rowe, Reilly Rowe; four great grandchildren, Kaeleigh Green, Landon Burbage, Camden Burbage, Bentley Rowe; and two brothers, Steve Carrow and Allen Carrow both of Small.

    In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittany Kay Rowe Green.
