Illegal aliens cost American hospitals billions in unpaid medical bills | Eastern North Carolina Now

taxpayers cover or other patients charged higher bills to cover

ENCNow

A Congressional committee report reveals that American hospitals in the interior are being hit with billions of dollars of unpaid medical bills from illegal aliens.  Some of these are covered with taxpayers money but many are covered by raising the medical and hospital fees for paying patients, driving up out of pocket costs for medical care for American citizens as well as insurance premiums for American citizens.

I can see maybe treating something acute like a heart attack, broken bone, or car accident injury, but we ought to bill their home country for it. Long term illnesses are another matter, like heart disease, cancer, kidney disease, etc. On those, we need to put the illegal aliens on a plane to their home country for medical care. There is no reason Americans should be paying for it through their taxes or through higher medical fees for our own people.
