The level of health screening between legal immigrants and illegal aliens who jump the border is very different. Those who legally go through the immigration process are required to pass very extensive medical tests and screening before they are even approved to come to the US, and if medical problems are detected, they have to be resolved before they come. This is a good protective process for public health in America.

An illegal alien who jumps the border and evades detection gets no screening at all. An illegal alien who turns themselves in to claim asylum gets an extremely basic screeding with no tests required that might note an obvious condition but would not find anything that is not obvious. Even when arriving legal travellers were required to have a negative test for Covid, that was not required of illegal aliens at the border.

The invasion by illegal aliens is a threat to our public health.
