Grace Ann White Rue | Eastern NC Now

    Grace Ann White Rue, a resident of 101 Anderson Street, Washington, N.C., died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Beebe Memorial CME Church. Reverend Edward Moultrie is pastor and Reverend Frank White is eulogist. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, N.C.

    Grace Ann White Rue was born on March 21,1945, in Sanford, North Carolina, to the late William McClain and Virginia White.

    Grace leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Elder John E. White, Terry R. Simmons (Cynthia), Kinney E. White, all of Washington, N.C., and Pastor Frank T. White Sr. (Margaret) of Raleigh, N.C., one daughter, Kathie Newkirk of San Diego, Calif.; her twin sister, Hazel White of Washington, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Ty’rea, Christian, Aaron, Quanteria, Breia, Jonita, Frank Jr., Ayanna and Zaccheus; one aunt, Ollie McDuffie of Sanford, N.C.; one uncle, Donald White of Sanford, N.C.; special and devoted friends, Dorothy Moore, Mary Delores Daniels and Marilyn Purvis. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly, and a son, Bernard; two brothers, William Terry White and Charles White. Viewing will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Bonner Street Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at Beebe Memorial CME.
