Trump Slams Biden As Iran-Backed Hamas Invades Israel: ‘American Taxpayer Dollars Helped Fund These Attacks’ | Eastern North Carolina Now

Donald Trump blasted President Joe Biden Saturday morning after Iran-backed Hamas terrorists invaded Israel in an unprecedented attack, killing over 100 Israeli soldiers and civilians.

The attack, which comes nearly a month after Biden gave Iran access to $6 billion, prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare that Israel "is at war" as the Israel Defense Force launched "Operation Swords of Iron" to defend the country from the terrorists. Trump slammed the Biden administration for tearing down the Abraham Accords, the Trump-negotiated Middle East peace deal, and for allowing Israel's enemy Iran to gain access to billions of dollars in a prisoner exchange last month.

"These Hamas attacks are a disgrace and Israel has every right to defend itself with overwhelming force. Sadly, American taxpayer dollars helped fund these attacks, which many reports are saying came from the Biden Administration," Trump said in a statement. "We brought so much peace to the Middle East through the Abraham Accords, only to see Biden whittle it away at a far more rapid pace than anyone thought possible. Here we go again."

Iran is a prolific state sponsor of terrorism but was hampered by strict U.S. sanctions since former President Donald Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear deal in 2018, which was negotiated by the Obama-Biden administration. Trump scrapped the deal over concerns that the agreement would allow Iran to construct a nuclear weapon. The Biden administration has tried to revive the Iran nuclear deal, but negotiations have been tabled for months. The White House has prioritized thawing relations with Iran to restore the agreement, and the prisoner swap was likely an attempt by both sides at some de-escalation.

On Saturday morning, Hamas launched a surprise attack by air, land, and sea, firing missiles into Israeli cities and hunting down Israeli citizens in the streets. More than 100 Israeli soldiers and civilians have been killed by the terrorists and over 900 are wounded. Iran voiced its support for Hamas, congratulating the Palestinian terrorists for their brutal attack on Israel.

"We congratulate the Palestinian fighters," Iranian advisor Yahya Rahim Safavi said. "We will stand by the Palestinian fighters until the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem."

Javed Ali, a former White House counterterrorism official, told The New York Times that "Iranian support also likely played a significant role given Tehran's longstanding relationship with Hamas and supply of money, weapons and training."

Money has likely been flowing to the Palestinian terrorists from Iran, and the Gaza Strip has received American taxpayer dollars directly from the Biden administration. In July of 2022, Biden announced the U.S. would be sending $316 million in aid to Palestinians after Trump stopped sending them foreign aid.

"There was really no connection whatsoever, no discussions with the Palestinians when the new administration team took over," a senior administration official said at the time. "We have worked to re-establish a lot of those connections."

Biden released a statement Saturday saying he spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and "reiterated [his] unwavering commitment to Israel's security" in the wake of an unprecedented attack.

"Today, I spoke with [Netanyahu] about the appalling Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel. I offered our support and reiterated my unwavering commitment to Israel's security. @FLOTUS and I express our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost loved ones," Biden said.

Joe Biden is the cause of this frightening Worldwide situation, and it will end when a Republican is elected president.
This delayed Worldwide dysfunction and constant conflict is all Donald Trump's fault, as it is with everything that occurs going forward, and long before the man ever became the 45th president..
Joe Biden is the "root cause" of this frightening Worldwide situation, and it will end when former President Donald John Trump is elected president.
