Goldie Hawn Claims She Had Encounter With Extraterrestrials: ‘They Touched My Face’ | Eastern North Carolina Now

Goldie Hawn recounted an alleged encounter she had with extraterrestrial beings when she was 20 years old.

The 77-year-old actress said on the most recent episode of the Apple Fitness+ series "Time to Walk" that she's "never shared this story" before.

"That was a time when, you know, there was a lot of UFO sightings," the "Private Benjamin" star said. "I remember this so clearly. I went outside my door, and I sat on the little ledge, and I looked up at the dark sky. And I saw all these stars. And all I could think of was, How far does this go? How little are we? Are we the only planet in the whole wide universe that has life on it?"

She said she was working as a dancer in Anaheim, California, at the time.

"I said, 'I know you're out there, I know we're not alone, and I would like to meet you one day,'" Hawn continued.

The actress said several months later, she was dancing in West Covina, California, "which is very close to a desert." She went to take a nap in a friend's car when she got tired during a rehearsal.

"I don't know why I said that," Hawn said. "I don't know why I didn't just lie down on the bleachers." The Academy Award winner recalled how she was just getting settled in to sleep when she heard a strange sound.

"I got this high-pitched sound in my ear," Hawn said. "It was this high, high frequency." She said she looked out the car window and saw "these two or three triangular-shaped heads."

"They were silver in color, slash for a mouth, tiny little nose, no ears," Hawn explained. "They were pointing at me, pointing at me in the car as if they were discussing me, like I was a subject. And they were droning."

She said the experience rendered her unable to move.

"I was paralyzed," Hawn said. "And I thought, Oh, my God. I want to get up. I didn't know if it was real or not real."

Eventually, she "burst out" of the state of paralysis, which she said was "like bursting out of a forcefield."

"Of course I go back to all the kids and stuff, and I went, 'Oh, my God. I think I made contact with outer space,'" Hawn said.

The actress said she thought the whole thing could have been a dream until she started reading other accounts of alien encounters, many of which described the same high-pitched sound and feeling of paralysis.

"So I started looking at this as something that might be real," Hawn said.

She later spoke with a researcher about what had happened and said revisiting the experience caused her to fall into a "trance" and remember even more details.

"They touched my face," Hawn said. "They touched my face, and it felt like the finger of God."

"It was the most benevolent, loving feeling," she went on. "This was powerful. It was filled with light."

While discussing paranormal experiences in general, Hawn said, "We cut ourselves off from a lot of things if we're continuing to deny something that we have no control over. There's a lot of things in this world that we can't see, but we can't stop believing."

"We can never ever lose our wonder," she added. "It's just no fun. It's really an important aspect of being an adventurer, where nothing is impossible."

After well over 75 years of what began as "flying saucers" manned by "little green men," to the current verifiable witnessing of a growing interaction between humans and what may be non human higher intelligence: What is your position on alien life interacting with humankind within this immediate territory of our Solar System, within our expansive Milky Way Galaxy, within this one universe that we are becoming increasingly familiar with?
Yes, I believe ... "The truth is out there."
No, where is the proof that I will believe?
Maybe they are already here; have you met my mother 'n' law?
