    Even though it reads like a headline from The Babylon Bee, it's unfortunately very real. Last week, big companies like Disney and Apple began pulling their advertisements from X (formerly Twitter) to distance themselves from Elon Musk, even though these same companies run ads on TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, and other platforms where anti-semitism and other forms of hate speech are allowed to thrive.

    There's one reason for this: X is the one major social media platform not controlled by the Left.

    At The Babylon Bee, we believe Elon Musk has done more to promote free speech than anyone else in recent history, and we want to stand with him and do whatever we can to fight back. With that in mind, our CEO, Seth Dillon, announced that The Babylon Bee is pledging $250,000 toward advertising on X.

    The Bee was founded with the intent to make people laugh, and we never imagined that just a few years later we'd be at the center of the battle to protect free speech on the internet. But if this is where God has put us, we won't back down from this fight.
