2/3rds of WHO's trans health policy committee have no medical training | Eastern NC Now

The World Health Organization (WHO) has beclowned itself yet again by appointing a Transgender Health Policy Committee that is stacked with transgender activists and only a third of them have medical training.  Some of them are known advocates for allowing sex change surgery and drugs to be used on children.  Feminist and gay organizations have blasted the makeup of this committee as biased and unqualified. One member, Florence Ashley, is even on record demanding that puberty blockers be automatically given to all children so they can choose their own gender.  Another sports a "Be gay, do crimes" tattoo.

The WHO committee is controversial even within the UN.   The UN's Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women has blasted the compostion of the commitee as too one-sided.  Rern Alsalem has noted that those committee members with a medical background have experience with sexually transmitted diseases, not gender issues, and that European medical experts who have extensively studied gender issues and have urged a cautious approach were excluded.

Of course, current WHO Director Tedros is the first person with no medical training to hold that post.  He is the former Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, put in place by the politicking of China.
