Cruz: There Is ‘Only One Campaign Promise Biden Has Honored’ | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said this week that the only campaign promise President Joe Biden has delivered on as president is the complete dismantling of the U.S. southern border.

    Cruz made the remarks after visiting the border with former President Donald Trump this week. Biden also went to the border, but only after Trump announced that he was going. Biden visited a section of the border that has had little illegal immigration while Trump visited the epicenter of the border crisis that Biden caused.

    "Joe Biden campaigned on open borders, he campaigned on saying, I will not deport people, I will not enforce our laws," Cruz said on his podcast after touring the border. "And as president, that may be the only campaign promise he has honored. If you look at what is happening, at the end of the day, you cannot defend what is happening on our border."

    "When you look at kids in the eyes, if you have a shred of humanity, it horrifies you," Cruz later added. "And understand, why does Joe Biden not go to the border? Because he didn't want to see them. On this trip to Brownsville, did he see a single child who was sexually abused? No. Did he see a woman who was violently raped? No. Did he see the families of the victims of those who had died of drug overdoses?"


    "In the last year, more than 100,000 Americans have died of drug overdoses. 70% of that has been Chinese fentanyl coming across our southern border. Did Joe Biden listen to those moms, listen to those dads, listen to parents crying over the loss of their kids? No," he continued. "This was a photo op that was sanitized. Lysol was used everywhere. It was - it's like a Potemkin village. It's like a Hollywood set, designed to say we're at the border. Nothing to see here. Nobody suffering, nobody being raped, nobody being assaulted, nobody dying. And it is profoundly, profoundly dishonest."

  The United States' must continue the Executive initiative of Open Borders until a Democratic Congress can codify full Demographic Inclusion by keeping the Biden /Harris Open Borders policy in place.

  Our United States' borders are sovereign just as are our self-governed citizens, where borders must be maintained, monitored and defended, which is the position of core Republicans.

  I am in favor of Open Borders to make my America more of a global community; however, the federal government must now fix problems that "Red State" governors have caused in our cities.

  I do NOT favor the Democratic Socialists' disruption of the cultural fabric of my Representative Republic, and there will be Treasonous Hell to Pay when the certain calamity begins in earnest.

Should the Institutionalized Corruption of the Biden /Harris Administration, in this separate instance the Open Border Policy of our Sovereign Southern Border, be not only tolerated, but sanctioned by the raising of local spending by local politicians to pay for these now visible and known effects of rampant, and out-of-control Illegal Immigration?

  Yes, it is a kind thing to do, and a way that our county, our state can aid in this tremendous effort toward local federal foreign aid; and now, thankfully, in great abundance.

  No, our Constitutional Republic WILL NOT continue to exist, as our United States of America, if we do not control our sovereign borders, to protect our citizens, to keep them solvent and safe.

  I only consider what is topical and popular since my friends, too, only care to do the same.
