New study: countries with strict lockdowns had worse health and economic results | Eastern NC Now

Covid lockdowns had negative impact, not positive

ENCNow

A new academic study prepared by two professors at Lund Univeristy in Sweden and published in  the Economic Affairs Journal has shown that countries using stricter lockdowns in dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic had worse results, both in terms of health and of economic impact than countries with lighter or no lockdowns.  The study compared the number of excessive deaths in each country during the pandemic, and found that there were more excess deaths in countries with strict lockdowns than in countries with no or lesser lockdowns.  It also compared changes in GDP and found that countries with lighter lockdowns fared better economicly as well.

Lockdowns were the ChiCom approach to Covid, which the ChiCom dominated WHO recommended to other countries. That fool Fauci advocated that totalitarian crap here. Faucism is just another way to say Fascism. Before the ChiCom stooge took over the WHO, its pandemic response was based on herd immunity, not lockdowns, but the ChiCom stooge Tedros changed all that. Now the facts show the ChiComs were wrong and the pre-ChiCom WHO had been right.

This new WHO pandemic treaty is nothing but a ChiCom power grab. If that blinkered fool Biden signs it, the states should pass laws saying they do not accept it as binding on them.

With a totalitarian World Health Organization trying to impose a "treaty" that is a massive powergrab, these results should be a wakeup call. The WHO has become little more than a wholly owned subsidiary of the ChiComs, with its ChiCom recruited and backed director general Tedros having no medical experience in his background as Foreign Minister of Ethiopia. The WHO backed the Chinese lockdown strategy which was a disaster. We do not need to give them any more control.
