    Good Morning Everyone,

    Our office is currently monitoring the forecast of an approaching cold front that has the potential to bring severe weather to our area tomorrow. The current forecast for Beaufort County includes:

    Rain

  • Rain chances will increase around 8am tomorrow and continue through 7pm, with most areas receiving 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch.
  • Our heaviest and most widely scattered rain is forecasted to occur between 8am and noon tomorrow.

    Winds

  • Sustained SW winds between 15 and 20 mph with frequent gusts of 25 to 35 mph are expected during the daylight hours tomorrow.

    Severe Storms

  • Severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong gusty winds and isolated large hail (up to quarter size) are possible with this passing system.
  • Our greatest chance of receiving severe storms will be between 11am and 4pm tomorrow.
