That fanatics and nuts can commit mass slaughters with weapons other than guns has been demonstrated in gun-controlled Australia where a knifeman at a shopping mall has killed at least 6 and injured 8 before he was shot to death by a policewoman. One hero saved lives by using a long poll to try to fend off the knifeman. A 6 month old baby is among those still fighting for life in the hospital, and her mother was among those killed.

Other gun controlled contries like the UK have also seen mass stabbings, often by jihadist terrorists.

If they did not have gun control, perhaps there would have been a law abiding citizen with a gun handy to shoot the knifeman before he stabbed so many people.

If a law abiding citizen had had a gun, then that 6 month old baby may not be fighting for its life and her mother might be still alive. A good guy with a gun could have saved these people. When seconds count, the police are minutes away.
