Biden regime renews its War on Free Speech in spite of court order | Eastern NC Now

Last July the federal Appeals Court issued an order in Missouri v. Biden to the Biden regime that required it to stop trying to control content  or censor the speech of Americans on social media.  An appeal in that case has been heard but not decided yet in the US Supreme Court.

Until recently, the Biden regime had complied with the court order, but with the election approaching, a Democrat US Seantor has revealed that federal agencies under political control of Biden are back to their old tricks.  They are seeking to be a "Ministry of Truth" in the sense of Orwell's novel and politically determine what is "true" or not and to push social media companies to do their political bidding.

We saw how this works in the 2020 election, when the same techniques were used to politically suppress the story on the Hunter Biden laptop.  Post election polls showed that this blatant political censorship changed the outcome of that election. After the election, it also developed that everything about the Hunter Biden laptop story had been true but had been suppressed for political reasons.

Freedom of speech is the cornerstone of democracy, and without it, democracy cannot function.  Biden's actions to impose censorship are the acts of a dictator and a big threat to American democracy.
