Sally Harrell Tadlock | Eastern NC Now

    Sally Harrell Tadlock, age 93, a resident of Elizabeth City, NC, went home to be with her Savior Sunday May 12, 2024.

    A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 14, 2024, in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, NC and will be officiated by Rev. Larry Gunther. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, NC. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.

    Sally was born in Chocowinity, NC to James and Eva Harrell, the youngest in a family of 10 children. She was a resident of Washington before moving to Rocky Mount, NC, and then Elizabeth City where she has resided for the past 48 years. She was active in her church Fountain of Life Pentecostal Holiness Church and the founding director of the Healing Rooms of Eastern North Carolina.

    Sally is survived by her brother Frank Harrell, daughter Mary Mielke (Jeff), son Bill Tadlock, granddaughter Tori Tadlock, grandsons Luke Santos-Mielke and Christopher Filger (Katie), and great-grandchildren Bram, Camden, and Orlia Filger.

    Sally is pre-deceased by her husband William Louis Tadlock, Sr, her grandson William Louis Tadlock, III, and 8 siblings.
