Biden has engaged in deliberate disinformation about inflation, falsely claiming on at least two occaisions that it was 9% when he took office. In reality in January 2021, inflation was less than 2%, specifically 1.4%.
Inflation hit 9.1% in June 2022, a year and a half after Biden took office. Biden's big spending and anti-energy policies had a lot to do with that increase.
So the real numbers show that when Trump left office inflation was 1.4% and a year and a half of Biden policy saw it skyrocket to 9.1%.

Even Biden's appointees, who clearly know better keep repeating his lie:
Under Bidenomics, inflation is not a bug in the system, but a deliberate feature:
As Biden keeps repeating this lie, one wonders if he is following Josef Goebbels advice that if you tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.

How stupid does he think the people are? He may have been on pills to make his address to the Nation. Wonder if he is on pills every day. |

Biden's radical globalist energy policies are the biggest contributor to Bidenflation, as energy is a component of the cost of almost everything, and he started that crap on his first day in office, continuing it ever since. Biden's overspending, much of it related to his globalist "green energy" push has also been a major contributor to Bidenflation. The only way out of this economic mousetrap Biden has created is to bring back President Trump, who has good sense on energy and spending.

It was a clear beautiful, royal blue sky day on Wall Street. The S & P futures were up markedly, awaiting a positive open, as I turn to get my first cup of coffee. I return to CNBC to get the morning business news, when I notice that the S & P futures are falling, and they're falling fast.
