Barbara Carawan Hubers | Eastern NC Now

    Barbara Carawan Hubers, born October 22, 1956, in Washington, NC, to William Everett and Sophia Forrest Carawan. On July 15, 2024, Barbara entered eternal life at the Greenville Medical Center.

    A private memorial service will be planned at a later date.

    Surviving family members are her sons Christopher Wayne Carawan and William Anthony Carawan of Washington. Her brother, David Van Carawan and wife, Barbara Pierce Carawan of Marksville, La. Her grandchildren Ashley Carawan, Dustin Carawan and Savannah Carawan. Her great-grandchildren Kinsley Russ, Brinley, Paisley and Beverly Carawan and Cohen Carawan. Several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Bernice Hooks.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale William Hubers, her parents, her brother William Acie Carawan and niece Kristina Marie Carawan.
