    Hollie Grace Taylor, age 23, a resident of Hunters Glen, Washington, NC passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center.

    A memorial service in her honor will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service officiated by Skip Hurley. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Brett Davenport, Cody Hare, Jeremy Martin, Aaron McKinney, Jeremiah Schaefer and Andy Woolard will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 Hwy 264 E., Washington, NC and other times at the home.

    Hollie was born April 21, 1990 in Beaufort County, daughter of Joseph "Joey" Emanuel Taylor, Jr. and Cathy Woolard Taylor. She was the granddaughter of the late Joseph "Manuel" Taylor, Sr. and Wanda Davenport Taylor and the late Orbert Knight Woolard and Thara Richardson Woolard. She was the step-granddaughter of Virginia Dixon Taylor of Village Circle, Washington, NC.

     Hollie was a 2009 graduate of Northside High School. She loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and the Outer Banks. Hollie loved playing with her pets Diesel and C-Ann. She had a passion for little children. She was an excellent babysitter and substitute mom. Hollie loved working with children at VBS. She loved cooking but most of all she loved her family and friends. Hollie was a member of Woodard's Pond Church of Christ.
