Another Soros-backed District Attorney was ousted yesterday, this time by the voters of Los Angeles. George Gascon had survived two recall attempts, but was ousted by landslide margins by voters as he sought reelection after one term. Gason received 36% of the vote to 63% for his successful challenger. Gascon's soft on crime record was the key issue in the campaign and Soros money did not save him this time.
