Bill Maher: 2024 election was very much about rejection of "woke bullsh*t" | Eastern NC Now

get woke, go broke (or defeated)

ENCNow

Liberal pundit Bill Maher has hit the nail on the head with his comment on his TV show that the 2024 election results "were very much about the voters rejection of anti-common sense woke bullshit".  Democrats went all-in on woke with  things like the Biden-Harris Title IX distortion throiugh rulemaking to protect "gender identity" and  "sexual preference" instead of protecting girls and women as Congress had written it.

Republicans who had the opportunity to use this issue but failed to do so, like Mark Robinson and Dan Bishop lost.  Texas Senator Ted Cruz focused on this issue when his race was down to one point, and ended with  a ten point blowout of his opponent, who he hammered hard on wokeness.

The Democrats are the party which is really waging a War on Women/

All things considered, the Robinson campaign was possibly the worst for a Republican in the history of North Carolina for that most important of a seat of governor. Mark Robinson's political career is over for any major seat.

Why? His campaign was incredibly pathetic, and he bears responsibility too. I have a Raleigh friend (one of my wife's best childhood friends, but I like her too), who had a huge fundraiser for Mark, and I just have to wonder how she feels right now about how her time and money was spent.

One day, I shall ask her.

Dale Folwell would have won that seat, and that is why I voted for and supported Dale in the primary. Plus, I know Dale, and I know that he is solid.

ONe example of how totally inept Mark Robinson's campaign was can be seen by his utter failure to raise this issue against Josh (Fraken)Stein, who was very vulnerable on it. His consultants and campaign staff should NEVER be hired by any future Republican campaign.
