Republicans move to keep biological men out of womens restrooms at Capitol | Eastern NC Now
as first "transgender" Democrat elected to Congress from Delaware
Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) is spearheading a measure to restrict womens restrooms on Capitol Hill to biological women and bar their use by biological men. Speaker Johnson is supporting the effort. Mace expresses concerns that womens privacy is impared if biological men are allowed to use womens facilities.
The move comes as Democrats have elected the first member of Congress who is a biological man claiming to think he is a woman, Congressman-elect Tim "Sarah" McBride (D-Delaware)
