Agnes Mae Fleming Watson Worsley, age 88, a resident of Grimesland, NC died Saturday November 23, 2024 at ECU Health Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

    Agnes Mae Fleming Watson Worsley, age 88, a resident of Grimesland, NC died Saturday November 23, 2024 at ECU Health Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

    A graveside service will be held 12:00 PM Monday November 25, 2024 at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington and will be officiated by Pastor Michael Hill.

    Mrs. Worsley was born in Beaufort County on November 2, 1936 to the late Richard Earl Fleming and Bessie Jefferson Fleming. She was a member of Ephesus Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Worsley enjoyed spending time at church, making food for those who were sick, offering rides to and from church on Sundays, singing in the choir, canning and sewing.

    Survivors include her four children, David Watson and wife Debra of Washington, Paul Watson and wife Connie of Blounts Creek, Linda Schulz and husband Jack of Grimesland, Carolyn Murphy of Washington, eight grandchildren, Christy, Stacey, Charity, Stephanie, Amanda, Craig, Kimberly, Allison, 16 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, two great great grandchildren on the way, and a brother, George Fleming of Greenville.

    She is preceded in death by her first husband, David Watson in 1984, her second husband, L.B. Worsley, Jr. in 2001, and a great grandchild, D.J. Elks.

    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside at 11:00 AM Monday November 25, 2024 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
