    Norma Wright Henry, age 97, a resident of Stone Mountain, GA, died Sunday November 17, 2024.

    A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday December 7,2024 at Trinity Episcopal Church of Chocowinity, NC, and will be officiated by the Rev. Bob Hudak. Burial will follow at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday December 6, 2024, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.

    Mrs. Henry was born in Beaufort County on March 20, 1927, to the late Zebedee Sampson Wright and Alice Cifronia Ange Wright. In November 1954 she married William Ray Henry, Sr. She was a 1945 graduate of Chocowinity High School. Norma also attended Lewisburg College. She worked at NC Power & Light as a secretary. She enjoyed art, poetry, psychology, and being a mother and homemaker. Norma was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur, Georgia.

    Survivors include one son, William Ray Henry, Jr., three daughters: Lisa Carolyn Henry Newhouse (Daniel) of Jefferson, GA, Linda Carol Henry Ramsey (Peter) of Marietta, GA, and Lara Carlene Henry Chryssochoos of McDonough, GA, one brother Zeno Mack Wright of Washington, NC, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one due in January.

    She is preceded in death by four brothers, David Ernest Wright, Earl O'Daniel Wright, Alton McCurley Wright, and Victor Brown Wright and one sister, Shirley Anne Wright Hodges.
