Faith Elizabeth Griffin Roberson | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Faith Elizabeth Griffin Roberson, age 79, a resident of Washington, died Monday, December 2, 2024, at her home.

    A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Ray West officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the First Church of Christ.

    Faith was born on August 8, 1945, in Craven County, to the late Alton Coolidge Griffin and Mary Kathleen Burgoyne Griffin. She attended Pamlico County High School. On September 1, 1963, she married Willie Thomas Roberson. Faith retired from the US Government as a clerk typist. She was a member of First Church of Christ. She worked for 14 years at Belk as a gift wrapper, and at Lee Chevrolet as a service writer. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Faith was preceded in death by her brother Alton Griffin, Jr. and sister Mae Butts.

    Survivors include her husband, Willie Thomas Roberson of the home, sons, Bryan Roberson of Greenville and Michael Roberson of Washington, grandchildren, Ashley Tripp (Ricky) of Chocowinity and Kristen Roberson of Wilmington, great grandchildren, Mackenzie Olson and Kiley Tripp.
