Biden withdraws Title IX changes that put boys into girls sports | Eastern NC Now
still not clear if he is withdrawing the part about boys in girls bathrooms
After a presidential election result that would certainly reverse it anyway, lawsuits against it by 25 states, and public opinion polls against it, Biden's Department of Education has announced it has withdrawn their attempt to rewrite Title IX to require school systems to allow biological boys be allowed to participate in girls sports. It is unclear from the wording of the announcement if they are also withdrawing the part of the rule change that demands that biological boys be allowed into girls restrooms.
Elections have consequences.
Those 25 states had already obtaining restraining orders from the courts prohibiting the Biden rules from taking effect in those states until the court cases were heard. North Carolina was NOT one of those 25 states because our far left Attorney General Josh Stein, soon to be our far left governor, refused to join any of the lawsuits or file his own to protect North Carolina's girls. Stein was just fine with boys invading girls sports and girls bathrooms.

The famous threat to hang a vice president was made by President Andrew Jackson during the South Carolina nulification crisis when he threatened to march federal troops in South Carolina and hang his vice president, South CArolinian John C. Calhoun. Instead, he eventually climbed down and gave South Carolina most of what they wanted.

Stan: One of my biggest differences with BB is that he regularly ascribes hate as the motivation for the people he disagrees with. That's insulting.
I also find it unconscionable that anyone could rationalize the practice of permanently physically mutilating confused children. Whether the adult who has gone through this process turns out to have a homosexual or heterosexual orientation, they are left with a mutilated body that cannot be returned to a healthy state. That is monstrous cruelty. |
