A powerhouse Democrat fundraiser and strategist, Lindy Li, who raised tens of millions of dollars for Kamala Harris, and frequently represented her to the media speaking as a surrogate, has announced that she is leaving the Democrat Party, which she refered to as a cult.  Li was a leading member of the Finance Committee of the Democrat National Committee and had a long history as a Democrat fundraiser.  She also said the Democrats "have a stench of loser."

Li had spoken out after the election about the misuse of money by the Harris campaign and called Harris "delusional" about a political comeback.  That set off a firestorm against her by leftwingers in the Democrat Party.  She was called a "whore" and a "communist spy."  Li, who is ethnic Chinese had had members of her family killed by the Chinese communists so the latter was particularly offensive.  She had also expressed support for Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary, which also caused convulsions among Democrats.

Of the Democrats, Li observed, "they are going headfirst into racism the first time someone dares to disagree with them," adding "I want to be part of the team that says men are men and women are women and men should not play in womens sports."

Meanwhile retiring Democrat US Senator Joe Manchin has called the Democrat brand "toxic" saying  they tried to "mainstream the extreme."
