DHS Secretary Kristi Noem cuts off government funds to migrant aid NGOs | Eastern NC Now

hundreds of millions of dollars were given by Biden DHS to these groups

ENCNow

Under the Biden regime, federal taxpayers were shoveling out hundreds of millions of dollars to non-governmental organizations, some run by social gospel churches, that aiding migrants in crossing the US border and staying here.  There was little accounting of how this money was spent, but it included helping them get to and over the border, as well as harboring them once they crossed the border.

That has now comes to a screeching halt as new Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has issued a directive to immediately cut off all of that funding.  DHS will now spend ninety days investigating that funding.

"It is amazing to me that hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent by the federal government that has been sent to NGOs to facilitate this invasion of our country," Noem declared.

Illegal aliens are a huge burden on taxpayers, but the Biden regime was paying groups to help them on their journeys to the US and then take care of them when they got here. That is outrageous. There needs to be a thorough accounting of this misspent money and some prosecutions over it.
