Escalation - Mexican crime cartel engages in train robbery on US soil

Criminal gangs stopping trains on their tracks and stealing goods carried on them reminds one of movies of the Old West, but a Mexican crime cartel has recently escalated their http://siirays.aaps.gob.bo/ criminal activities here by carrying out a train robbery on US soil. Their impact in the US in the past has mainly been through drug smuggling and human smuggling of illegal aliens.

The Sinaloa cartel has been engaged in train robberies with a modern touch. Their technique for forcing the trains to stop so they can loot them is to cut their air brakes. In a recent train robbery in Arizona, eleven members of the Sinaloa cartel were arrested and charged. The goods they stole were Nike shoes.

President Trump has recently designated the Mexican crime cartels as international terrorist groups, which will allow use of military assets against them.
