    Mrs. Rebecca Rowland Wallace, age 93, a resident of Pinetown, NC died Friday January 31, 2025, at her home.

    A graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday February 3, 2025, at the Charles Waters Cemetery on Beaver Dam Road. The service will be officiated by William "Billy" Ray Askew. The family will receive friends at her home of.

    Mrs. Wallace was born in Beaufort County on March 27, 1931, daughter of the late William Jesse Rowland, Sr., and the late Lalla Pearl Bennett Rowland. She was a 1949 graduate of Bath High School. On April 21, 1951, she married Ferrell Mack Wallace, Sr. who preceded her in death on April 10, 1983. Before her retirement she was a legal secretary at McMullen & Knott Law Firm in Washington. She was a member of Terra Ceia Church of Christ.

    Survivors include her sons: Mack Wallace and his wife Jackie of Pinetown and Keith Rowland Wallace of Pinetown; brother Bill Rowland of Washington; two grandchildren: Sarah and Kimberly; and four great grandchildren: Alex, Ally, Nevaeh, and Anthony She was predeceased, along with her parents and husband by her sisters: Margaret Hewitt, Georgia Askew, Edna Harper, and Ruth Rowland.
