Stanley Ray Hudson “Tractor Man” | Eastern NC Now

    Stanley Ray Hudson "Tractor Man," age 58, a resident of Grimesland, died Saturday, February 1, 2025, at ECU Health Medical Center.

    A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington with Pastor Robbie Robbins officiating.

    The family will receive friends at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington one hour prior to the service, and other times at the home.

    Stanley was born on August 18, 1966, in Beaufort County, to the late Jimmy Ray Hudson and Tessie Elks Hudson. He graduated from Chocowinity High School and attended Beaufort County Community College and Craven Community College. Stanley worked with NCDOT Roadside Environment, Assistant Shop Forman for NCDOT Equipment Department, he also served as Executive Director of Facilities for Beaufort Regional Health Systems and Executive Director of Auxiliary Services for Beaufort County Schools. Stanley ran a shop and restored antique tractors. He attended Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was past president of the Eastern Antique Power Association. He loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, collecting antiques and working on hit and miss engines.

    Survivors include his wife, Linda Ann Robbins Hudson of the home, his children, Seth Ray Hudson (Breanna Leggett) of Grimesland and Sara Dawn Hudson (Brandon Ange) of Washington, step-children, Bambi Cox (Miles) of Washington, John Mullen (Erica) of Washington and Dakota Mullen (Krista) of Washington, brother, Colin Hudson (Shari) of Murfreesboro, sisters, Sandy Deans (Sammy) of Washington and Marietta Wagner (Joe) of Burlington, grandchildren, Ava-Haiyes Cox and McKinlee Cox.
