far left German Green Party calls for German censorship of US social media firms | Eastern NC Now

The leader of Germany's far left Green Party, Robert Habeck, told a German election debate that Germany should censor American social media companies.  He also doubled down on censorship of German citizens calling for an increased level of censorship within Germany. On American social media companies, he said they "must be regulated in a way that aligns with our values".  Habeck also blasted Trump and Musk's support of free speech.   The ideology of the Green Party could be described as "eco-fascist".

Habeck, who served as Economics Minister in the recently collapaed left-liberal coalition,  has a thin shin personally and cannot take criticism, prefering to have people who question his performance arrested.  In one highly publicized example,  a German citizen in Bavaria, upset as Germany's stark economic downturn under Habeck's stewardship put a post onlin calling Habeck an "idiot", a position a great many Germans would agree with.  Habeck had him arrested and prosecuted for that comment.

One wonders whether it is the former communist East Germany or Hitler's Third Reich that is Habeck's role model.  He is a thoroughgoing totalitarian.

Meanwhile, the European thinktank, Matthias Corvinus Collegium, has published a report detailing how the unelected European Commission is spending taxpayer money to fund organizations supporting their political agenda including European federalism, climate alarmism, and other globalist objectives.  Their report identified 1.2 Billion euros of such inappropriate spending.  This is much like the American Deep State's misuse of USAID for similar purposes.
