Under Biden, millions of egg laying chickens were "culled" or slaughtered as they went above what was needed to stop bird flu. Now with egg prices in the stratosphere, the Trump USDA is preparing to import eggs to get prices down until egg laying chikcen flocks in the US can recover. The price of eggs impacts a lot of other foods which contain eggs such as bread.
