    John Anthony Beaver, age 44, a resident of Hwy 33 E., Chocowinity, NC passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013. There will be a celebration of his life with military honors at 6:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2013 at Memorial FWB Church officiated by Owen Arthur. Pianist Pat Arthur will provide music. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home.

    John was born December 20, 1968 in Atlanta, GA son of the late Larry Dean Beaver and Patricia Anne Cauley Beaver who survives. He graduated from Forest Lake High School in Minnesota and later married Wanda Congleton Beaver who survives. John was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and had also worked with Quest Wireless in Minnesota. He attended college through Cherry Point. John loved fishing and hunting; especially pheasant hunting. He had a tremendous love for his family and his dogs, Zeke and Bo.

    In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Joshua G. Beaver and Zachary S. Beaver of the home; his sister, Missy Streich and husband Doug of Anoka, MN and his niece, Brittany Christie and husband Jon of Elk River, MN.
