Carl "Rafe" Jones | Eastern NC Now

    Carl "Rafe" Jones, age 29, a resident of Goldsboro, NC passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at his home.

    There will be a celebration of his life at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral officiated by Gregory Ramsey. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Lyn Corprew, 447 Gray Rd., Chocowinity, NC.

    Rafe was born January 30, 1984 in Dallas, TX son of the late Raymond Carl Jones and Annette Swain Jones who survives. He graduated from Northside High School in 2002. Rafe worked in the landscape business and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended Sidney FWB Church as a child.

    In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Pam Pearsall and husband Darryl of Virginia Beach and their children, Tyler and Madison and Lyn Corprew and husband Jamie of Chocowinity and their children, Jada and Jamie, Jr.; and his brothers, Ray Jones and wife RaeAnn of Belhaven and their daughter, Kathryn and Ryan Jones of Virginia Beach; as well as many close friends in Goldsboro, NC.
