National Republican Senatorial Committee backs RINOs, not conservatives

ENCNow

Republican activists often get fundraising mailings from a DC group called the National Republican Senatorial Committee.  Conservatives should throw them away because they are a RINO group not a Republican group.  Texas is a case in point.  Last election, the NRSC refused to give money to conservative Texas incumbent senator  Ted Cruz in the general election, although at one point the polls were close.

Now, in a Texas Senate PRIMARY, they are backing ultra-RINO liberal incumbent John Cornyn against a top tier conservative challenger Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a major conservative hero.  Cornyn is so liberal that he has been loudly booed by delegates to the Texas Republican state convention.  He has supported gun control, amnesty for illegal aliens, numerous big spending bills, and opposed the border wall.  Cornyn is little more than an Undocumented Democrat.

A poll taken a few weeks before Paxton even announced his candidacy showed Paxton leading Cornyn by 53% 5o 29%.

Next the NRSC will probably be trying to protect another liberal RINO scoundrel with a major conservative challenge, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana.  Heck, they will probably back the utterly worthless Thom Tillis.

Meanwhile, two Texas GOP congressmen have already endorsed Paxton.

Conservatives should NEVER NEVER NEVER send a dime to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.  Send your contributions instead to the Senate Conservatives Fund which backs the right candidates in primaries and general elections.

I used to have a lot of respect for Sen. Tim Scott, chairman of the NRSC, but NOT anymore after this endorsement. Only weasels endorse the likes of Cornyn.

NRSC has always been an establishment Trojan Horse. I always use the Senate Conservatives Fund for where I send my US senate political contributions. Some years ago in Colorado, I remember a dynamic black conservative county commissioner winning the state party endorsement at the state GOP convention and then the GOP primary, after which the polls showed he was competitive in the general election. The NRSC sabotaged him in the general election by a big public announcement that they were pulling out of the state because they said he could not win, making it a self-fullfilling prophecy. They were in a snit because Mitch McConnell's endorsed candidate, a state senator, had run fourth in the primary.

The NRSC has proven itself absolutely unreliable and they should never get contributions from conservatives.

Cornyn is a despicable amnesty whore who does not deserve reelection. So are Cassidy and Tillis.
