Larry Don Quidley Sr. | Eastern NC Now

    Larry Don Quidley, Sr. age 78 a resident of Washington, died Wednesday May 28, 2025, at his home.

    A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Whaley officiating.

    The family will receive friends Monday evening at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

    Larry was born on October 29, 1946, in Beaufort Co., NC to the late Willie Guy Quidley and Hazel Grant Taylor Quidley. He attended John A. Wilkinson High School and had a degree in drafting from Beaufort County Community College. He served in Vietnam with the US Navy.

    Larry was a licensed electrician and formerly a deputy sheriff with the Uinta County Sheriff's Office in Wyoming. He had a federal firearms license; he loved guns and shooting. Larry loved to work, and he loved to fish. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Storm Quidley.

    Survivors include his son, Larry D. Quidley, Jr. of Chocowinity, sister, Connie Crandall (Alan) of Greenville, his former wife, Sandra Daniels Quidley of Belhaven, grandchildren, Larry Don Quidley, III of Greenville, Landon Shane Quidley of Chocowinity.
