ORIGINAL ARTICLE:
The Department of Homeland Security has opened an investigation into the funding of the Open Borders insurrection in Los Angeles, working to identify those organizations and individuals bankrolling it. They have brought the IRS into the investigation to track down funding streams.
At the center of the insurrection is the pro-migrant NGO CHIRLA, which has received at least $34 million in government money, mostly from the state of California but also some federal funding. CHIRLA has been tracking the movements of ICE officers and reporting them in real time to Open Borders insurrectionists, as well as actively promoting the insurrection.
Not only are there issues about defunding these extremist organizations, but also the possibility of criminal charges for conspiring to interfere with law enforcement officers.
Separately, there is a move in Congress to defund all of the organizations that have helped encourage this Open Border insurrection and to remove their tax exempt status.. The goal is to cut off the funding for the migrant mobs.

Meanwhile, looting by the mobs of illegal aliens and far left hooligans continues in Los Angeles. The latest business victimized was an AutoZone store:
