US DOE says electric grid was recently on the brink of collapse from Biden climate regs | Eastern NC Now
emergency orders to overrule those idiot regs avoided blackouts
Our electric power grid was on the brink of collapse this week, according to Energy Secretary Chris Wright as the grid strained at capacity. The cause was Biden-era climate regulations on power plant emissions. DoE made four emergency orders to stop enforcement of those regulations to allow those plants to run at full capacity and keep the electric grid stable. One of those emergency orders involved the grid serving North Carolina.
Just a few weeks ago, Spain and Portugal suffered nationwide blackouts due to their overdependence on unreliable wind and solar "green" energy.
"We were on course for a train wreck," Secretary Wright declared, "We are doing everything possible now to sweep out the nonsense."

If you have Optimum cable TV, ch 35 is a Greenville Utilities sponsorship of announcements and area weather forecasts. They tell us that Gville is building a solar farm and citizens can adopt solar panels. There are some up front fees... I think $35 each, and some monthly fees. But when all is said and done the monthly ongoing cost to you is abt $5 per panel u adopt. They joyfully try to sell it to the woke, who they say can enjoy participating in solar energy programs to save the planet. I cant believe they are doing this with a straight face. I wonder how many virtue-signalers sign up to send the electric company an extra $5 a month. |

This wind and solar scam is a threat to our energy security. It is good that Trump is going after it, but we have to remember that our RINO US Senator "Traitor Thom" Tillis is pushing as hard as he can against Trump and for the scam. Tillis needs to be put our to pasture in the 2026 primary.
