Tillis is now blocking Alina Habba as US Attorney for New Jersey | Eastern NC Now

Thom Tillis is at it again planting the knife in the back of solid conservatives from his perch on the Judiciary Committee.  First it was against Ed Martin as US Attorney for District of Columbia.  That one led to a firestorm forcing Tillis to withdraw from his reelection campaign.

Now, Tillis is at it again opposing the confirmation of Alina Habba as US Attorney for New Jersey.  After Habba became a target of the Democrat House Minority Leader, she became a political target of partisan Democrat district court judges in New Jersey, and now also a target of leftwing RINO US Senator Thom Tillis.

Republicans only have a one seat majority on the Judiciary Committee, so if one member goes bad, it is all over for the nominee.  Since this is a repeat performance of treachery by Tillis, if Majority Leader Thune has a functioning backbone, he ought to be replacing Tillis on the Judiciary Committee with someone more dependable.

This is a fair warning that North Carolina does NOT need Tillis' understudy Michael Whatley as his successor.  Don Brown is a more dependable conservative.
