CA woman arrested for registering dog to vote, voting her, and posting it online | Eastern North Carolina Now

Mail-in ballots and easy voter registration is a ticket to election fraud, and California has both.  A recent arrest shows how easy this is, when a woman engaged in it was foolish enough to post on Facebook about doing it.

Laura Yourex registered her dog Maya to vote.  When the dog received mail-in ballots in her mailbox, Yourex filled them out and put them in a ballot drop box..  Then she got cocky about it posting on Facebook, showing the dog with an "I voted" sticker and her mail-in ballot as well as a picture of the dog's ballot being placed in a ballot drop box.  That led to her arrest and felony charges.

The sad thing is that people doing this without being so stupid as to post online about it, can get away with it.  This dog voted in two elections before her owner was arrested.  Even after the dog died, she was still getting ballots in the mail.
