party's woke ideology creates divisiions, alienates everyday Americans
Former longtime Democrat US Senator from West Virginia Joe Manchin in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination has blasted the leaders of the Democrat Party for undermining democracy. Sen. Manchin denounced the Democrat Party's "woke" ideology saying it "creates unnecessary divisions" and "alienates everyday citizens." He particularly cited the Democrats' DEI ideology as damaging to democracy.
"I don't say this lightly," Senator Manchin declared, "But under the leadership of President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and later President Biden and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Democrats have systematically tried to weaken the very guardrails that have protected our democracy for generations - all in the name of advancing their agenda."

Better late than never, but where was Manchin when he sat in the Senate and did not dare challenge these lefties? He good have done some good if he had dared speak up back when he was in the Senate.
