UK's leading political party calls for mass deportation, ending welfare to migrants | Eastern NC Now
will save taxpayers hundreds of billions
The UK's populist nationalist Reform Party is leading its nearest competitor in British polls by 15 points, and its hard line on immigration is part of its appeal. Party leader Nigel Farage just doubled down on that hard line on illegal immigration by announcing Reform's immigration plan for the next government, which it should lead. Mass deportation of illegal aliens is a big part of the plan, as is using the military to prevent small boat arrivals and making it more difficult to obtain residency in the UK. Farage also plans to expel some who have been legalized like asylum seekers who were granted asylum under weak standatds.
A major part of the plan is to limit all welfare benefits of any kind to British citizens. Presently, anyone granted asylum or even claims asylum is subsidized by the British taxpayer, often put up in 4 and 5 star luxury hotels. Reform would bring an immediate halt to all of that. That part of the plan will save British taxpayers 230 billion pounds
Anticipating the usual problems from the European Court of Human Rights, which might as well change its name to the European Court of Human Smuggling, Farage plans to just bail out of that court.

Meanwhile the UK's leftwing Labour government's idea of deportation is to pay convicted rapists and murderers 2,300 euros to voluntarily leave the country.
Australia once had a major illegal immigration problem of migrants arriving by boat. Former Prime Minister Tony Abbot put an end to that with his Operation Sovereign Borders, led by an army general and combining assets of the border police, coast guard, and the military. Migrant smuggling boats were identified while at sea, intercepted, and forcibly turned around, at gunpoint if necessary.
