A recent poll for the Reuters news agency has confirmed a recent CNN poll showing that voters widely prefer Republican solutions on the key issues over Democrat proposals.  It confirms the similar findings of a recent CNN poll.  The poll was conducted of 1,000 American voters by the French polling firm IPSOS.

On crime, 40% of voters preferred Republican solutions compared to 20% for Democrats, giving Republicans a 20 point advantage.  The Republican advantage on immigration was 18 points and on the economy 10 points.  On foreign conflicts, Republicans had a 12 point advantage.
