President Donald Trump said on Friday that Hamas is "ready for a lasting PEACE" after the terror group claimed it would release all remaining hostages as it continues to negotiate other terms of Trump's peace proposal.

The president also called on Israel to "stop the bombing of Gaza" to allow for the hostages to be handed over safely.

"Based on the Statement just issued by Hamas, I believe they are ready for a lasting PEACE. Israel must immediately stop the bombing of Gaza, so that we can get the Hostages out safely and quickly!" Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "Right now, it's far too dangerous to do that. We are already in discussions on details to be worked out. This is not about Gaza alone, this is about long sought PEACE in the Middle East."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Hamas' statement, saying that Israel is "preparing for the immediate implementation of the first stage of President Trump's plan for the prompt release of all the hostages."

"We will continue to work in full cooperation with the President and his team to bring the war to an end in accordance with the principles set out by Israel, which are aligned with President Trump's vision," Netanyahu added.

On Friday afternoon, Hamas released a statement responding to Trump's plan, agreeing to release all of the remaining hostages and hand over administration of Gaza to an independent Palestinian body. In the statement, Hamas did not agree to disarm, a major point in the plan laid out by President Trump and agreed to by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this week.

Hamas said it would release the remaining hostages "according to the exchange formula contained in President Trump's proposal, and as the field conditions for the exchange are met."

"In this context, the movement affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss these details," Hamas added in its statement.

The terror group said it appreciated President Trump's efforts "calling for an end to the war on the Gaza Strip, the exchange of prisoners, the immediate entry of aid, the rejection of occupation of the Strip, and the rejection of the displacement of our Palestinian people from it." Middle Eastern countries, including Egypt and Qatar, have also been involved in the peace talks and welcomed Trump's push to end the war.

According to the plan, Israel would also be forced to turn over "250 life sentence prisoners plus 1,700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023, including all women and children detained in that context." Without Hamas agreeing to the other terms of the deal, however, Israel might not be willing to agree to the release of hundreds of prisoners.

Earlier on Friday, Trump told Hamas to agree to the 20-point peace plan by Sunday at 6:00 p.m. ET or face "all HELL."

26 days after the October 7th Terror attacks on Israel, where over 1400 Jewish men, women and children were gruesomely murdered, and hundreds more made hostage: Should the Biden /Harris administration finally state that the administration's primary Middle East negotiating partner, Iran, is behind the funding and strategy of the aggressors, the Hamas Terrorists, or continue to take the more moderate position of "Don't," which is clearly not working?
Yes, name Iran as the funding /strategy culprit, and begin to enforce the President Trump era sanctions to END Iran's ability to prosecute this war against Israel and the United States.
No, Iran is a valuable partner in the motives of the Biden / Harris administration, and must not be named as the culprit and our enemy.
I have larger concerns just to survive in this economy.

Now that President Trump is picking his cabinet and immediate staff to insulate him from the poor judgement of the Bureaucratic Class, while moving quickly to transition this Constitutional Republic unto a wise and sustainable direction: What is your immediate impression as to how our nation will prosper?
We are headed toward a Golden Age in America's self-governed society.
This will all wind up in a clustered mess since Trump is a Fascist, and thought to be the second coming of Adolf Hitler by our best journalists.
This is a time where critical days lay ahead, where only wise and responsible decisions must be made to sustain US.
I generally do not pay attention, but expect only the best to occur ... and that is what I always expect.
