Obamacare insurers all-in on funding Democrats to protect their massive subsidies | Eastern NC Now

The corrupt money trails between the Schumer Shutdown show who is bankrolling the Democrats in their attack on the American people.  The key group of funders for this Democrat scheme are the health insurance companies who are profiteering off of government subsidies for Obamacare.

Since Obamacare passed, the stocks of these health insurance companies are up over 1,000%.  They are now receiving over a trillion dollars in federal taxpayer subsidies.  They are particularly keen to continue a Covid-related subsidy that was passed as a temporary measure to deal with Covid, which is now over, but the greedy insurance companies want to keep the subsidy money anyway.

The ties that these Obamacare health insurance companies have established with the Democrats in exchange for support for their subsidies was shown in the recent Proposition 50 California gerrymandering referendum campaign.  Two major Obamacare health insurance companies dumped $575,000 into Governor Newsome's campaign to gerrymander California's congressional districts for Democrats.

Meanwhile, the continuing demands by Democrats show their shutdown scheme is about a lot of other liberal policies than just the Obamacare subsidy.  That includes welfare for illegal aliens, health care for illegal aliens, subsidies of leftwing causes as "foreign aid", funding leftwing mouthpieces public radio and TV, and a lot of other such  baggage.
