Right rises in Chile

ENCNow

The American left tries to call support for enforcement of immigration laws "racist" and "anti-Hispanic", when in fact they are just rational support of national sovereignty.  Ironically, it is in a Hispanic Latin American country that cracking down on illegal immigration and on crime have become a political winner for the local right.  Chile's right, allies of presidential candidate Jose Kast, have just flipped control of both houses of the country's parliament, running on a crackdown on illegal immigration and on crime.  Kast himself faces a runoff with a socialist that polls show he is heavily favored to win to become Chile's next president.
