Florida AG sues Starbucks over DEI hiring & medical orgs over kids trans surgery | Eastern NC Now

striking blows for common sense

The left has used DEI as a tool to promote some groups in society over others, and that includes races, which is a violation of the law.  That is now getting heavy pushback by the Trump DOJ, but states are also now getting into the act.

Florida's attorney general has now filed a lawsuit against Starbucks over their DEI policy.  The state alleges that Starbucks DEI policy constitutes illegal racial discrimination against whites with its racial quotas.

The left has also been heavily pushing sex change surgeries for children.  Again, the Trump administration is fighting that, and Florida's attorney general has also stepped to the plate on that one.  The world's first two sex change surgeries were performed in Germany in the 1930s by a doctor later convicted of Nazi war crimes.

Florida is suing the National Academy of Pediatrics, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, and the Endorcrine Society for promoting sex change surgeries for children.  The current guidance from the British National Health Service, for example, is that gender confused children usually grow out of it naturally and no new names or pronouns and certainly no surgery or drugs should be recommended or prescribed.

CV: Why is it that North Carolina's messed-up attorney generals become even more messed-up, and incredibly pathetic to the point of stupid governors. Can anyone intelligently explain that to me and this readership.

I wish North Carolina had an Attorney General like Florida's. For as long as I can remember, NC has had liberal twits as AG's who thought AG stood for "Aspiring Governor". If they sued on policy at all, it was to promote leftwing policy. Hooray for Florida!
