Sybil Marie Tingen Jordan | Eastern NC Now

    Sybil Marie Tingen Jordan, age 51, a resident of Belhaven, NC died Friday January 2, 2026 at her home.

    Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 142 Swamp Road, Pantego, NC 27860 courtesy of Keyzer Catering at 2:00PM on Saturday January 10th.

    Sybil was born in Germany on April 14, 1974 to Linwood Carlton Tingen and Virginia Griffin Tingen. Hobbies included tending to a vegetable and herb garden, puzzles, knitting when finding the time, and singing along with her favorite songs as they came on the radio. Sybil was also an admin and leading advocate for others dealing with similar health issues both online and in person.

    Survivors include her sons, Cecil Thomas Williams, III (Crystal) of Ayden, Jack Walton Jordan, IV, her father, Lindwood Carlton Tingen, two grandchildren, Greyson Jace Williams, Melody Rain Cullen, Her fiancé, Staten Clayton, three step children, William Reid Clayton, Henry Leslie Clatyon, Matthew Allen Clayton, two step grandchildren, Timothy Cullen, Adam Cullen, a sister, Kelly Tinngen, a brother, Linwood Tingen, Jr., and a best friend, Brenda Brooks.

    She is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Merritt Griffin Tingen.
