fighting globalism - Trump withdraws US from 66 international organizations | Eastern NC Now
some UN-affiliated, others not
President Trump has struck a major blow against globalism by withdrawing the United States as a member of 66 international organizations. That also means withdrawing US funding of them as well. Some of the organizations are affiliated with the UN and others outside of it.
Trump noted that these organizations no longer represented US interests. Many of them had become political, promoting things like climate alarmism or "social justice". Many had become agenda driven on agendas contrary to American interests.
Among the organizations that the US will no longer participate in are the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the UN Population Fund.
